All of our adoptable animals are in the care of volunteer foster parents. The foster families provide a safe place for the animal until placement. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please email us info@alabamaspca.org.

Hello!! My name is Chase! I'm about 4 years old and around 50 pounds!! I'm a chocolate lab that loves the life I live!! I am heart worm positive, but I have started my treatments! I LOVE LOVE LOVE to get my belly scratched! I'm also vocal when it is time for you to rub my belly! I just don't want you to forget! I love my dog friends to come over and play with me and my toys!! I love to take a walk everyday or even a jog! I also like to run laps in the back yard, and then take a really good nap! I get really bored when it rains, so I just wait by the door until the sunshine comes back and my foster mom let's me outside so I can sprawl out across the grass to feel sunshine on my fur! I don't mind being in a kennel during the day, that's my prime nap time! I love to "sit" and "shake" for a tasty treat too! When it is time for bed, I can sleep in the kennel, but I really rather go with you! My foster mom takes my dog bed out of my kennel and lays it beside her side of the bed on the floor and that's where i like to sleep! I'm a super smart boy, so if you tell me not to do something I won't! I love all my fur siblings, I'm a lot bigger than them, and I know I have to be careful around them to make sure I don't hurt them! I love my foster mom and when my foster daddy leaves for work it is my job to protect her and my fur siblings during the day! She tells me I do a really good job, because I won't let her out of my site!
Our Adoption Fee is $125, unless otherwise noted, and goes towards the vet expenses for the animals in our care. Included in the adoption contribution is spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines, and microchip.
