Hello! My name is Chester. I was adopted out of a high kill shelter so that I could get out before my time was up there, and I am so grateful! I am a 1 year old hound who has so much love and silliness to offer--they tell me I'm a Pointer mix. I'm a quick learner, crate trained, and coming along great with house training. I love playing with other dogs and I go crazy over a good squirrel...but, I am a hound after all. They tell me I would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard. Oh, I also LOVE peanut butter. And doggie steak bites..yumm! I am neutered and fully vetted. I love children and kind grown ups-in fact, all I really need is love. Would you consider making me a part of your family? If you are interested please email mkbarrett@crimson.ua.edu. More about Chester- Courtesy ListingGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids
Our Adoption Fee is $125, unless otherwise noted, and goes towards the vet expenses for the animals in our care. Included in the adoption contribution is spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines, and microchip.
