All of our adoptable animals are in the care of volunteer foster parents. The foster families provide a safe place for the animal until placement. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please email us info@alabamaspca.org.

Can't Adopt or Foster? Maybe you'd like to provide sponsorship for an animal. Sponsors are needed to help with vet care expenses as well as food, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, etc. Monetary donations may be sent via http://paypal.com to donations@alspca.org. You may also mail your donation to Alabama SPCA, P.O. Box 78, Northport, AL 35476

Ever wanted a lab without the size? Meet the perfect mix of playful, calm, happy and all around an awesome girl. Ellie is a 1 year old lab mix with all the good qualities of a lab without the size! She loves to play in her kiddie pool with her foster siblings, follow you around the house and get lots of quality snuggle time. Ellie is 45 pounds and is a go with the flow kind of gal. Although lacking a little in the confidence department she loves to meet new people and other dogs. Ellie would strive in a home with a fenced in yard, maybe a sibling or two and someone to love her unconditionally. If you're interested in making this ball lover part of your home fill out an application at www.alabamaspca.org
Our Adoption Fee is $125, unless otherwise noted, and goes towards the vet expenses for the animals in our care. Included in the adoption contribution is spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines, and microchip.
