All of our adoptable animals are in the care of volunteer foster parents. The foster families provide a safe place for the animal until placement. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please email us info@alabamaspca.org.

Hi friends! My name is Vincent Van Dog. I came into the Alabama SPCA foster program a few weeks ago after spending a week at the local animal shelter. I am around 3 months old and weigh approximately 10 to 12 lbs. Full grown I will probably weigh around 40 lbs. I am crate trained and we are working on the housetraining. My foster mama says I'm doing really well and I am going to make some family really happy! P.S. I don't have to have another dog or kiddos to keep me company, but I do want someone active. I love to play outside, but I also like to come inside and take long naps If you're interested in me, please go ahead and fill out the adoption application: http://alabamaspca.org/index.php/adopt/digital-adoption-application Background Info: (as much as we know anyway)..... Vincent arrived at the Metro Animal Shelter in September with a terrible skin infection and missing part of my left ear. It looks like someone chopped part of his ear off. Not really sure though.
