All of our adoptable animals are in the care of volunteer foster parents. The foster families provide a safe place for the animal until placement. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please email us info@alabamaspca.org.

Can't Adopt or Foster? Maybe you'd like to provide sponsorship for an animal. Hudson is a 22-24 wk old Golden Lab/Sharpei mix, looking for his forever family to come along and sweep him off his paws. He's been in foster care since he was surrendered to the animal shelter just after the tornado. Hudson has been neutered, wormed, and received a series of three sets of 5-way puppy shots. He's is outgoing, fun, lively, inquisitive, athletic, and loves to play. He is all boy. Sharpei head and legs with lab body and lab temperment. Very adorable. Hudson weighs about 30 lbs now and we estimate he will weigh around 45 lbs full grown. HUDSON WANTS YOU!!!! UPDATE FROM FOSTER: "He is just about the cutest and sweetest puppy ever. He has Sharpei legs and a Sharpei head and ears. His coat is all Golden and he's a bundle of fun. Hudson loves other dogs and cats. He enjoys spending lazy mornings in bed with you and all of his toys." Our Adoption Fee is $125, unless otherwise noted, and goes towards the vet expenses for the animals in our care. Included in the adoption contribution is spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines, and microchip.
