All of our adoptable animals are in the care of  volunteer foster parents. The foster families provide a safe place for the animal until placement. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please email us info@alabamaspca.org.

Can't Adopt or Foster? Maybe you'd like to provide sponsorship for an animal. Sponsors are needed to help with vet care expenses as well as food, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, etc. Monetary donations may be sent via http://paypal.com to donations@alspca.org. This handsome guy is Jack. We think Jack may be a shepherd/terrier mix of some sort. He weighs around 25lbs and is a medium size. Jack was surrendered by his owners after the terrible tornado came through Tuscaloosa 4/27/11. Although Jack is sad his family could no longer keep him when they lost their home, he knows he's got a bright future to look forward to. His foster mom tells him to just keep his chin up, a forever family is out there, searching for a dog just like Jack. This guy promises to be the most loyal companion a family could ever ask for. Just come meet him!

Our Adoption Fee is $125, unless otherwise noted, and goes towards the vet expenses for the animals in our care. Included in the adoption contribution is spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines, and microchip.
