Hello kind soul. Maybe you can help me I am very scared, fearful mama cat and I need a kind hand to care for me. I had my kittens during the awful devastating tornado of April 27, 2011. I think I went into labor just a little early because of the stress and fear I was in during the storm. I was doing the best I could to take care of my 5 babies, but I knew it would not be enoughI barely had enough milk to keep them alive. I got very lucky and some rescue angels found me in the rubble of a house after the stormand only one of my poor babies was still nursing. I am so grateful for the rescue angels, for it is only due to them that my kittens lived! When they found us we were rushed immediately to the emergency room and given life saving treatments. Since that day the angels at Alabama SPCA found a wonderful foster home with a loving girl to help me with my babies, and I am very grateful. My kittens are getting older now, and it is time for all of us to find forever homes of our own. I know it will be easier for my babies to find homes than it will be for mebut I will be patient. They have called me feral, but I do not understand what that means. I just know I am scared to death of humans. But foster mom says there is an angel out there who is perfect for me, and will not mind at all how fearful I am. Is that person you? Mamacita will be spayed soon. She is up to date on vaccinations and ready for a forever home of her own. If you are interested in adopting this beautiful girl, please contact shannon@alspca.org for more information or an adoption application. The adoption fee of $75 will go towards Mamacita's vetting expenses.
Our Adoption Fee is $125, unless otherwise noted, and goes towards the vet expenses for the animals in our care. Included in the adoption contribution is spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines, and microchip.
