Chase a.k.a. Happy Feet is around a year old and appears to be a terrier mix. He is all legs! He's up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, neutered, and on preventatives. Chase loves to play with other dogs. He's a great dog who is ready for a home of his own. Chase was found as a stray with an embedded collar and a few minor cuts and scrapes. He was probably on his own for a while. He's gained some weight now and we are working on crate and house training. UPDATE on Happy Feet............This sweet little fella was displaced from the tornado that ripped through Tuscaloosa 4/27/11. We found his crate in the neighbor's yard across the street. 10 days after the tornado, we received a phone call from someone who lives about a 1/2 mile away who had found our lil foster guy and had been caring for him. Thank goodness!!! We had feared the outcome but were so relieved to bring him home that day. Happy Feet continues to do well in his foster home. He knows that a lucky family is out there, just waiting for a sweetheart like him. He promises to be patient while he waits. Good news.....He is now completely crate trained, still a little skittish at times, but loves people and gets along fine with the other dogs. Please come meet him today. Form more information on Happy Feet or to obtain and adoption application, please contact shannon@alspca.org. The adoption fee is $125 and will go towards the vetting expenses for Happy Feet.
Our Adoption Fee is $125, unless otherwise noted, and goes towards the vet expenses for the animals in our care. Included in the adoption contribution is spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines, and microchip.
