All of our adoptable animals are in the care of volunteer foster parents. The foster families provide a safe place for the animal until placement. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please email us info@alabamaspca.org.

Spotz' adoption fee is $300 plus the transport fee that gets him to New England is $125 paid directly to the transport company!
IF you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application! If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement! Thank you for your understanding and consideration and for helping the dogs and puppies in need!
Once we receive your application you will get a reply with email and phone contact info for the rescuer and foster Mom to ask specifics about the dog or puppy you are interested in!
IF you submit an application, please check your email and your spam/bulk folder several times a day- a delay in responding to us may result in the puppy you are interest in being adopted by an applicant who did reply to us.

Spotz is a young dog, about 2 years, found as a stray in rural Alabama. He followed the rescuer's vehicle and jumped right in when she opened the door. Despite apparent neglect and abandonment, Spotz is a very happy, loving dog who loves to play. Spotz is doing great in his foster home. He's learned to sit and shake. Spotz is neutered, vaccinated, and current on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Spotz would love a playmate and/or a very active family to call his own. He is currently learning manners and what it's like to be part of a family. No doubt, Spotz will make a wonderful pet for some lucky family! Adopt him and you are sure to love him!
Spotz is fully vetted and will be microchipped prior to adoption. Also, he will come with a 30 day free trial of pet insurance.
He must go to a home where he will live inside as an important member of the family. We do not adopt to anyone under the age of 21
