All of our adoptable animals are in the care of volunteer foster parents. The foster families provide a safe place for the animal until placement. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please email us info@alabamaspca.org.

Can't Adopt or Foster? Maybe you'd like to provide sponsorship for an animal. Meet Austin, a handsome lab/dane mix who is ready for a new home! Austin has been in rescue now for a couple of months. He and his brother/sisters had demodex mange when they came to us so we've spent the last couple of months treating them. Austin was neutered last week. He's now up to date on vaccines and is current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Austin is about 6 months old and is an extremely sweet boy who is crate and house trained. He gets along well with others and will make a great companion. Our Adoption Fee is $125, unless otherwise noted, and goes towards the vet expenses for the animals in our care. Included in the adoption contribution is spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines, and microchip.
