All of our adoptable animals are in the care of volunteer foster parents. The foster families provide a safe place for the animal until placement. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please email us info@alabamaspca.org.

Can't Adopt or Foster? Maybe you'd like to provide sponsorship for an animal. Sponsors are needed to help with vet care expenses as well as food, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, etc. Monetary donations may be sent via http://paypal.com to donations@alspca.org. We do not have a physical shelter, our dogs and puppies are in private foster homes. Hugo is being fostered in AL, and will travel northeast once adopted!
Hugo can go to his adoptive home on April 27! Please click on the following: INSURE YOUR PET - DO NOT TAKE A CHANCE Hugo's adoption fee is $300 plus the transport fee that gets her to New England is $125 paid directly to the transport company! IF you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application! If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement! Thank you for your understanding and consideration and for helping the dogs and puppies in need! Once we receive your application you will get a reply with email and phone contact info for the rescuer and foster Mom to ask specifics about the dog or puppy you are interested in! IF you submit an application, please check your email and your spam/bulk folder several times a day- a delay in responding to us may result in the puppy you are interest in being adopted by an applicant who did reply to us. He was a favorite with the employees and volunteers so we had to help him! Hugo has turned out to be one of the most amazing dogs we have ever had! His foster mom has cats and Hugo is so nice and respectful of the kitties. He understands when its time to play and time to settle down. Hugo is crate and house trained. He's great with other dogs, large and small. Hugo loves to run and play. He'll be a great dog for an active family! All dogs come with a microchip and will come with a 30 day free trial of pet insurance

Our Adoption Fee is $125, unless otherwise noted, and goes towards the vet expenses for the animals in our care. Included in the adoption contribution is spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines, and microchip.
