Meet Stevie, a very special boy, brought into the Metro Shelter in Tuscaloosa, AL early last week. Stevie is blind. We are not sure of the circumstances right now. Our plan is to get him into a vet as soon as possible. One of his eyes looks as if there's a tumor in the center of the eye. The other eye is very cloudy. Hopefully we can tell you more about Stevie and his condition real soon. What we do know is, every time we see Stevie he has a toy in his mouth. He's a fast learner, and does a great job learning his area really quick. He's great with other dogs and we really believe he is missing another dog somewhere. Stevie actually met AJ, another dog from Metro Shelter in Tuscaloosa, on Tuesday. Stevie and AJ became best buds in a very short time period. Stevie could use a few friends to help with his medical care. Also, if you are interested in providing a home for Stevie, please fill out the adoption application. For more information on adopting this dog, please email adoptions@alspca.org. The adoption fee is $125 and will go toward our vet expenses. All dogs are microchipped and will come with a 30 day free trial of pet insurance. More about Stevie MasonGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Needs special care
