All of our adoptable animals are in the care of volunteer foster parents. The foster families provide a safe place for the animal until placement. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please email us info@alabamaspca.org.

Peanut was a stray at the local animal shelter. Sadly no one came back to claim the little guy. He's been vaccinated (two sets of puppy shots) and will be neutered this week (10/29). Peanut will also be microchipped prior to adoption. Peanut's foster mom describes him as a laid back guy who really just likes to be held more than anything. Peanut has been socialized with other dogs, puppies, and even cats. For more information on adopting Peanut, please contact info@alabamaspca.org. More about PeanutGood with Dogs, Good with Cats
Our Adoption Fee is $125, unless otherwise noted, and goes towards the vet expenses for the animals in our care. Included in the adoption contribution is spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines, and microchip.
