All of our adoptable animals are in the care of  volunteer foster parents. The foster families provide a safe place for the animal until placement. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please email us info@alabamaspca.org.

Can't Adopt or Foster? Maybe you'd like to provide sponsorship for an animal. Sponsors are needed to help with vet care expenses as well as food, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, etc. Monetary donations may be sent via http://paypal.com to donations@alspca.org. Meet Star, a young lab mix, rescued from the shelter in Tuscaloosa. Star is a lovely girl, great with everyone she meets, loves other dogs, and will be wonderful with children! Her foster mom tells us she's got perfect manners!

Star is approximately 6-8 months old. She is crate trained and is working on house training. She loves to go on daily walks and romps with her foster sister and brothers!

Our adoption fee is $125 and goes towards the vet expenses which include spay/neuter, microchipping, age appropriate vaccines, and a free, one-month trial of pet insurance.
